Shree Padmam

Shree Padmam is situated right on G.S.T. Road in Vandalur. If you have ever traveled this way, you know how busy this road gets with all the buses and trucks moving towards the south of Tamil Nadu. Our location in 600048 puts us in a spot where there is constant movement. The Vandalur area is famous for the zoo, but we are just a bit further along the main road. The building is simple and doesn't stand out too much from the other structures along G.S.T. Road. We spend most of our time dealing with the humidity and the dust that comes off the highway. It is a very practical place to work. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just open up every morning and do what needs to be done. The people who work here are mostly from the nearby villages or the local Vandalur neighborhood. We talk to travelers who are tired from the road and locals who are just passing by on their way to work. The traffic can be a real problem sometimes, especially during the holidays, but we are used to the sound of horns by now. We keep the place running in an honest way, without any of the fancy stuff you might find in the middle of Chennai city. It is just a regular spot on a very busy road.
