Sri Mahalakshmi Traders

If you go down G S T Road in Chrompet, you’ll find us at No 285. We are right near the bus stand, so the sound of engines and people shouting for their stops is basically the background music for Sri Mahalakshmi Traders. It’s a very busy part of the neighborhood. We spend most of our time dealing with the goods that come in and out. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so there’s still room for people to walk. Often, we are just moving boxes from one side to the other to reach something in the back. Being so close to the bus stand means we get a lot of people just peeking in while they wait for their ride. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, keeping an eye on the shop and making sure things are in order. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but that’s just life on G S T Road. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the noise anymore. It’s a basic setup with a counter and some shelves, and that’s all we really need to get the work done. We like being in the middle of all the activity in Chrompet and seeing the commuters every day.
