You can find Lakshmi Materials at No 49A/22, which is on Palani Chetti Street in the Seshadri Palayam area. This part of town is quite old, and the streets are narrow, which makes it feel very traditional. Our shop is packed with all sorts of materials that people need for their projects. We don't have everything displayed perfectly like a showroom. Things are piled up where they fit, and you might have to step over a few items to get to the back. It has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. We spend our days helping people who come in looking for specific bits and pieces. It’s a lot of talking and measuring. Sometimes we have to hunt through the stacks to find exactly what someone is asking for. The street outside, Palani Chetti Street, is always full of life, with cycles and people walking past our door all day long. We like being in Seshadri Palayam because it feels like a real community. We know most of the people who walk by. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, so we keep the front wide open to catch whatever breeze comes through the narrow lane. It is a basic way of doing business, but it has worked for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest supplier in the city, just a reliable place for people in the neighborhood to get their materials.
