Sri Krishna Engineering College

Sri Krishna Engineering College is located out in Panapakkam, which is about 10 km away from the Vandalur Railway Station, near Padappai. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we like the space it gives us. The campus is spread out, and you can actually breathe the air without all that city smoke. We’ve been operating in this spot for a long time. Most mornings start with the sound of the buses arriving from Vandalur and other nearby areas. We aren't a fancy, high-tech looking place from the outside. It’s more of a practical setup with solid buildings and plenty of room for the students to move around. Our staff mostly lives in the surrounding villages or travels in from the outskirts of the city. We don’t spend much time on marketing or trying to look better than we are. We just focus on the classes and the labs. Sometimes the internet is slow or the grass grows too long during the monsoon, but we deal with it as it comes. It’s a down-to-earth environment. People come here to study engineering, and we provide the place for them to do that. Being near Padappai gives us a nice connection to the local community. It’s a simple, honest life out here in Panapakkam, and we’re happy to be a part of it, doing what we do every single day.
