Sometimes it feels like the whole world is moving fast right outside our gate while we are just doing our thing inside. The campus isn't overly huge, but it has enough space for everyone. We have the usual classrooms and labs that you would expect. Most of the furniture has been around for a bit, so it has that worn-in feel that makes it comfortable in a way. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the morning, so we usually keep the blinds down until it gets cooler. Working here means getting used to the pace of the GST Road. We see people coming in from different parts of the city, some looking tired from the commute. We just try to keep the place tidy and functional. It’s not a flashy spot, just a regular engineering college. We have a small canteen where everyone goes for a quick break, and that’s usually where the most noise is. The rest of the time, it’s just the sound of lecturers talking and the occasional bell ringing. It’s just our daily life here, nothing more and nothing less. People mostly keep to themselves and get their work done before the evening traffic starts up again.
