If you head out towards Sriperumpudur, you will find us located inside the SIPCOT Industrial Park. It is a massive place full of big factories, warehouses, and constant truck traffic. Our spot is at Plot F-71. At Schwing Stetter, specifically in the marketing and service branch, we spend our time keeping heavy machinery running. It involves a lot of grease, heavy metal parts, and constant phone calls. The air around the park is always filled with the sound of the highway and the big industrial fans. We don't have one of those quiet, carpeted offices you see in the city center. It is mostly concrete floors and simple metal desks. The guys are usually seen in their work clothes, either checking on a concrete pump or talking to a customer about a specific part they need for a job. Marketing here isn't about fancy advertisements or posters; it is more about knowing the equipment inside and out and explaining how it works to a guy on a dusty construction site. We have a lot of our meetings standing right in the middle of the shop floor. It is hot and tiring work, especially during the summer months, but that is just the nature of this industry. We eat our lunch together and usually just end up talking more about the machines. It is a very straightforward, hardworking environment for all of us. It is a long commute for some of us to get out to Sriperumpudur.
