Our office is located at 242, L.B in Thiruvanmiyur. It is a decent spot for us and the commute isn't too bad for the guys. We deal with power backup systems and batteries mostly, so the place is usually full of heavy equipment and tools. We don’t really have a big fancy lobby or any of those corporate decorations you see in the city. It is more about having enough floor space to move things around and get the repairs done. The morning routine usually involves a quick cup of tea before we start checking the inventory and responding to the day's calls. Thiruvanmiyur is a lively neighborhood, and we have gotten to know many of the other business owners on this street over the years. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and it is always a bit ironic since that is exactly what we handle, but we just take it in stride. It is a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business, which makes for a friendly atmosphere most days. We don't have a human resources department or anything like that; we just talk things out if there is a problem. The shelves are packed with spare parts and old manuals that have been around since we opened. We prefer staying busy and keeping the work moving rather than worrying about how the office looks. It is just a plain, honest workspace where we handle power solutions every day.
