M/S Sri Electronics

You can find us at No. 138 on L & T Road, tucked away in Burma Colony. We are basically right behind the State Bank of India in Peungudi. It is a quiet enough spot once you get off the main road and find the right turn. Sri Electronics has been around here for quite a bit. We work on all sorts of electronic bits and pieces. It is the kind of work where you are always leaning over a desk with a magnifying glass or a soldering iron. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have got shelves full of old parts and some newer stuff we are currently testing. The humidity in Chennai does not help with the gear, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things up. Being behind the bank makes us a little harder to find for new people, but the locals know the way. We do not have a big staff, just a few people who really know their way around a circuit board. We like it that way. It stays simple. We drink a lot of tea and listen to the local radio while we work through the repairs. If you bring something in, we will give it a look and tell you if it is worth fixing or not. No pressure, just honest work in a small corner of Peungudi. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the challenge of finding out why a machine stopped working.
