Larsen & Toubro Rubber Processing Machinery

Down in Vedal, Kancheepuram, you’ll find our place for rubber processing machinery. We use Post Bag No 2 for our mail. It’s a bit of a trek out here, but there’s plenty of space for the big machines we work on. Larsen & Toubro is the name on the sign outside. We spend our days mostly looking at blueprints and fixing up parts for the rubber industry. It’s heavy work and your hands usually end up pretty greasy by the end of the shift. The workshop is big and airy, which helps when it gets hot in Tamil Nadu. We have a good group of mechanics and engineers who have been here forever. We don't really have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk into the main floor if they need something. It can be a bit chaotic with all the metal and tools lying around. We keep a close eye on the calendar to make sure we don't fall behind on the builds. It's a solid, old-school way of doing things. We take our breaks under the trees when we can. It's just a regular shop where we get the machinery built and ready for the factories. Nothing more to it than that. We just focus on the welding and the assembly until it is time to go home. It's a quiet life out here in Vedal, but we stay busy with the work.
