It’s a proper industrial area, so there’s always a lot of noise and activity around us. You’ll hear machines and trucks moving all day long. Our unit isn't huge, but it fits everything we need for the power control systems. It gets quite dusty being in an industrial estate, so we are always cleaning the equipment and the desks. We’ve been operating from Ekkattuthangal for a long time now. The guys here know the layout of the 3rd North Phase like the back of their hands. It’s not the kind of place where you’d bring people for a fancy lunch, but it works for what we do. We have some heavy machinery and a lot of wires and components scattered around. It’s a busy environment. We don't really have a front office as such, just the main floor where the work happens and a small corner for the paperwork. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don't know the cross streets, but once you find F-4, you’re there. We just stick to our work and keep the systems running. It’s hard work but we are used to the pace of the estate. The tea man comes around twice a day with a flask, and that's usually the highlight.
