Karpaga Vinayaga College Of Engineering

The college is located out in Chinnakolambakkam, which is down by the Palaiyanur Post area. If you’re driving along the GST Road towards Padalam, you eventually see the turn-off. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s quieter out here, which is nice for a college. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff that comes with running an engineering campus. There’s always some maintenance work happening on the grounds or someone fixing a pipe that started leaking. It isn't a flashy office building; it’s more of a functional space where we keep the records and run the departments. The weather gets pretty hot on this stretch of the road, so we keep the fans going most of the day. You see a lot of trucks passing by on the highway before you turn into our gate. Inside, it’s mostly just students walking between buildings and staff trying to keep up with the paperwork. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just the folks who live nearby or commute in to teach and work. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the internet is slow for a bit, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a plain, honest kind of place where we focus on the engineering side of things without any extra fluff or fancy talk.
