You can find us on Old Mahabalipuram Road in Sholinganallur. The college is tucked into Jeppiar Nagar, and it’s a pretty large campus. It takes a while to get to know your way around all the different blocks. We have a lot of buildings dedicated to the different engineering streams. The labs have been used by many students over the years, so they have that lived-in feel. It’s an engineering college, so there’s always a bit of noise from the workshops and the student projects. We have our own buses that bring in people from across Chennai. The mornings are usually a rush of people arriving and heading to their first classes. The canteen is a big part of the day, mostly because it's where everyone catches up. The food is basic but it does the job. We have plenty of trees, but the heat in Sholinganallur is still something you have to deal with. The staff here are a mix of long-timers and newer faces. We don't have any flashy slogans on the walls. It’s just a place where the work of teaching and learning happens every day. Sometimes the projectors act up or a fan stops working, and we just get it fixed and move on. It’s a busy, practical environment for people who are serious about their studies. We just keep the doors open and the labs running.
