Government Sec.school Mahanpur

We are over here at Number 29 in the Chitra Individual Housing Society. It is right off Dargah Road in the Pallavaram area of Chennai. If you know the neighborhood, you know it gets busy, but inside the society, it is a bit quieter for the kids. The school has been part of this community for some time. We have students coming in from all the nearby streets. Most mornings start with everyone gathering near the entrance. The building itself is older, but we keep things tidy enough. It is just a regular government school where the local families send their children. You will see us out there during the breaks. There isn't much flash to the place. We have classrooms that get quite warm in the afternoon, so we keep the windows open for the breeze. Sometimes the traffic from Dargah Road gets a bit loud, but we are used to it by now. The staff mostly lives nearby too. We don't have fancy equipment, but the desks are solid and the blackboards get a lot of use every single day. It is just a place for learning. Parents stop by the gate to drop off lunches or talk to the teachers. We try to keep things organized despite the small space we have here in the housing society. It’s a simple setup. We are just doing what needs to be done for the neighborhood kids around 600043. Every year the faces change, but the daily routine stays pretty much the same.
