Consultant

Our place is over on Pereri Amman Koil Street in Pozhichalur. It is a quiet enough spot in Chennai, though the traffic nearby can get a bit much during rush hour. We do consulting work here under the name Consultant. People come in with questions or problems they need help solving, and we sit down and talk through it. The office is at No. 2/801. It is a plain setup with some chairs and a couple of old desks. We keep a lot of files in those metal cabinets that creak when you open them. It isn't a high-tech lab or anything like that. Just a space where we can focus. Usually, there is a breeze if we keep the windows open, which is nice. We spend most of the day reading through reports or typing things up on the computer. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. We've been here long enough that most people know the name. We don't have any big slogans or shiny posters on the walls. It is just a practical place to get work done. We drink a lot of tea while we look over documents. Every now and then, we have to travel out to meet people, but mostly we are right here. It is a steady way to spend the day. Sometimes we stay a little later on Fridays to finish the logs and make sure we can relax over the weekend.
