Cad Engineer-Trainee

We have been set up here at 1/33 Pilyar Koil Street for quite a while now. Tiruvanmiyur is a really busy part of Chennai, and Rajiji Nagar stays pretty active from the early morning until late at night. People usually come find us when they are just starting out with their design work or looking to get a better handle on how CAD software actually functions in a real job. It is mostly trainees and younger folks trying to figure out how to bridge that big gap between what they learned in school and what an actual engineering firm expects. The office itself isn't anything fancy or impressive to look at, just a practical place where we sit down and get through the drawings. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the bikes and the traffic on the street, but that is just how it is around this neighborhood. We spend most of the day looking at our computer screens and trying to fix little mistakes in the design files. It involves a whole lot of trial and error. Teaching people how to use these technical tools takes a lot of patience, and we don't try to rush the process. Usually, there is always someone at a desk working hard on a project or asking a question about a specific command they can't remember. We just keep things moving along and try to help the trainees get comfortable with the technology. It’s a very straightforward setup with no big corporate vibes, just some old desks and people trying to learn something useful.
