Asan Memorial College Of Engg & Tech (Amcet)

We are located way out in Thandarai Village, near the Peria Irumbedu Post. It’s a long trek down Mamallapuram Road, and you’ll pass a lot of green fields before you get to us in Manambathi. It’s a quiet place, far away from the noise of the city, which is probably for the best when you’re trying to study engineering. The campus is pretty large because there’s plenty of space out here in the countryside. We have the usual concrete blocks for classrooms and labs that have been there for years. It’s a bit of a rustic setup. You won’t find any high-end luxury here. Just some fans, wooden benches, and labs that smell like oil and old electronics. Most of the students come in on the college buses because there isn't much public transport this far out. We have a few trees scattered around and a small canteen that serves basic meals. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a lot of fancy events or high-tech displays. We just focus on the syllabus and getting through the semester. Some days the cows from the nearby farms wander a bit too close to the gate, but that’s just life in the village. We’ve been here for a while, and we’re happy to stay out here where it’s peaceful. It’s just AMCET, doing what we do in our corner of the world. We don't need much more than that to get by.
