Panchayat Union Middle School

You can find Panchayat Union Middle School over in Nambedu, specifically in the Pazhampettai area of Chettupattu. It’s one of those schools that is really part of the local fabric. The building is a typical government-style structure, nothing too fancy but it holds up. We have students coming in from all the nearby houses and some from further out in the village. It gets pretty lively in the mornings when the bell rings. Since it’s a middle school, the kids are at that age where they are starting to get a bit more serious about their studies, but they still like to run around in the dirt during the breaks. The surroundings are quite rural. You see a lot of fields and local shops as you head towards the school. We don't have a big fancy gate or a security guard in a suit. It’s just an open space where the community gathers. Sometimes the local panchayat meetings happen nearby, or people just use the area as a landmark when giving directions. The rooms are basic with benches and desks that have been used by many students over the years. We focus on getting through the books and making sure the kids show up on time. It’s honest work, and the staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other. It’s just a regular school day in a quiet part of Chettupattu.
