P U P School Srikrishnapuram

P U P School Srikrishnapuram is situated right on Srikrishnapuram Road in Valakanampudi. This is over in the Tiruvallur district. It is a Panchayat Union Primary school, which means it is a pretty standard government-run place for the local kids. The road outside can get a bit busy with people traveling between the villages, but inside the school walls, it stays mostly focused on the lessons. We have a few rooms for the different grades and a small area for the midday meals. The building itself is an older one, with thick walls and some patches on the roof from the last rainy season. It is not a place with a lot of extras, but we make do with what we have. Most of the children walk here from the nearby houses in Valakanampudi. You can see them coming down the road in their uniforms every morning. The staff here are all local people for the most part, so we are all neighbors in a way. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place organized and making sure the kids have their books and supplies. It is a quiet life, mostly dictated by the school bell and the seasons. When it rains, the road gets a bit muddy, and when it is dry, it is quite dusty. That is just how it goes around here. We are just a small primary school trying to do a decent job for the community.
