You’ll find Sri Divya Chaitanya Matriculation School at No 1, right where the Arakkonam To Sholingur Main Road passes through Pandianallore. It’s a very easy spot to find if you’re traveling through this part of Vellore. The school sits at 631102, and the main road is always busy with buses and motorbikes. We have a pretty standard setup. There’s a gate at the front and a small area where the kids gather for assembly in the morning. The classrooms are lined up along the corridor. We don't have any air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans and the breeze. It’s a local school, through and through. The teachers are mostly women from the surrounding villages. They bring their lunch in steel tiffins and sit together during the break. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. It’s mostly about the textbooks and the blackboards. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit muddy, which makes the morning drop-off a bit chaotic, but we manage. The kids are used to the noise of the Sholingur road. During the weekends, the place is completely quiet, which is a nice change. We just focus on keeping the kids busy and making sure they learn what they need to. It’s not a complicated place. We just open the doors, teach the classes, and go home when the sun starts to set.
