Ma Manasha Tour & Travels

We are located over on Bashita Road in Beltola. If you know where Bhetapra is, we are just a short walk from there. Ma Manasha Tour & Travels is a small operation. We spend most of our time answering the phone or looking at schedules on the computer. The shop isn't very large, so if three people come in at once, it feels crowded. We handle local tours and help people figure out how to get from one town to another without too much trouble. The traffic on Bashita Road can get stuck in the evenings, so we usually see more people dropping in during the morning hours. We have a few maps on the wall that are a bit old, but they still show the main roads clearly enough. Most of our work is just organizing cars for families or booking seats on the night bus. We don't do much advertising; most people just see us while they are walking to the main market area. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, though the dust from the road always finds its way inside. It’s a plain place. We have a tea stall nearby, so there is usually a smell of ginger tea in the air. We just sit here, do the bookings, and chat with the regulars who live around this part of Guwahati. It’s a quiet way to run a business.
