The Assam Tribune

The Assam Tribune is located in Rehabari, Guwahati, right on A K Azad Road. If you live in this city, you probably know the building well. It’s an old spot with a lot of history behind it. The office is always buzzing with activity because that is just the nature of the newspaper business. There is the constant sound of typing, people talking on phones, and the general rush to get things ready for the next day. We’ve been in this part of Rehabari for a very long time. The street outside is usually crowded with cars and people walking by, but inside, we are just focused on getting the pages put together. It isn’t a modern, glass-walled corporate office. It feels more like a place where real work happens, with stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of ink in certain corners. Our staff has been here for years, and many of us have seen the neighborhood change around us. We don't really do the whole "corporate culture" thing. We are just a group of people who come in every day to make sure the news gets printed. It’s a lot of long hours and late nights, especially when something big is happening. We like being in this part of town because it feels central and connected to everything else in Guwahati. It’s just a regular, hardworking environment where everyone knows their job and gets it done.
