You can find Geo Cabs Northeast over on Law Collage Road in Dispur. We are at House 17, which is right opposite the Aprila Lodge. It’s a bit of a quieter area than the main market, which is nice for us. Running a cab service means there is always something going on, whether it is a driver calling about a flat tire or someone needing a ride to the airport at four in the morning. Our office is basically just a room where we coordinate everything. We don't have any high-tech systems, just some mobile phones and a notebook to keep track of the drivers. We’ve been at this location for a while and most of the neighbors know us. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, and the streetlights aren't always working at night, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city; we just want to keep the cars running and the drivers working. It’s a practical business and we don't have time for anything too polished or corporate. Sometimes we lose track of a driver for a minute or a booking gets a bit confused, but we always figure it out in the end. It is just a regular local business where we work hard and hope for the best with the traffic. Usually, we are just here making sure the cars are clean and the fuel tanks are full.
