L G Travels

L G Travels is located in the Parmeshwari Building on Chatribari Road. If you are driving along and see the Himatsingka Petrol Pump, then you have pretty much found us. We are right in that area of Chatribari. It’s a busy road, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been working out of this office for quite some time now. It’s just a standard room with some desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We aren't interested in being some big fancy agency with polished floors. We just want to get the work done. People come in to book trips or ask about car rentals, and we do our best to help them out. We talk to our customers like they are neighbors because most of them are. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English and maybe some local gossip while we wait for the printer to finish. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We’ve seen the city grow and the petrol pump get busier, but our office stays pretty much the same. We like it that way. It’s predictable and steady. We don't spend money on big ads. Usually, someone just tells a friend about us, and that’s how we keep going. It’s a simple life running a travel desk in Guwahati, and we are okay with that.
