J M K Tour & Travel

We are tucked away in the Shankar Building on Kedar Road, specifically in Flat No 12 on the first floor. It is in By Lane No 3, right there in the middle of the Fancy Bazar area. If you look for Railway Gate No 5, you are basically right there. J M K Tour & Travel is just a small local setup. We don't have any flashy lobby or a front desk with a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. Most of the time, we are busy on the phone or typing away on our old computers. The lane can get pretty crowded with people and carts, especially in the afternoons. It’s just the way things are in this part of Guwahati. We deal with all the usual travel stuff like cars, tickets, and planning routes. It’s a lot of small details to keep track of, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels natural now. We aren't here to sell you a dream, just to help you get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes we make mistakes with the tea order, but we try not to make them with the travel dates. It is an honest living for us. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a bit lived-in, but it works for what we do every day.
