Golden Woods Travels

Our place is at 201 in the Sundarpur area of Guwahati. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the Janambhumi Press, which is a pretty big building that most locals can point you towards. Sundarpur is a bit more relaxed than the main G S Road stretch, but it still has plenty of life. Our office is at number 201, and it’s a fairly plain space where we handle all our daily tasks. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture or big signs; we just have what is necessary to do our work. The press across the street is always busy with trucks and people, and we often watch the activity from our side. It is a very practical location for us. The office itself has a bit of a lived-in look, with some stacks of papers and old calendars on the walls. We usually arrive in the morning and stay until the sun goes down, watching the traffic on the road change as the day goes on. It can get a bit humid in the summer, so the fan is always on high. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We are just Golden Woods Travels, working out of a room in Sundarpur. There’s a small shop nearby that makes good tea, and that’s where we spend our breaks. It’s a simple life and a simple office, which is exactly how we like to keep things.
