Manaswini Organic Producer Company Limited is based out of Balaram Bag’s place in Bagpa. It is a small village called Karlagaon under the Badchergaon post office. We are located near Bhawanipatna in the Kalahandi district. It is a very rural spot in Orissa. Most of us here have spent our whole lives in this area. We started this company to handle our organic produce together as a group. It isn't a big corporation with fancy desks and computers. We sit together at Balaram’s and figure things out. Sometimes the phone signal is bad, but we manage. People in Bagpa know us well. If you are coming from the main town, it takes a little while to get here. The roads are okay but can get dusty in the summer. We focus on what we grow and how to get it to people. Our pin code is 766011. There are quite a few of us involved in the group now. It is better to work as a team than alone. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the daily tasks. If you come by, you will likely see us working on some paperwork or talking about the next harvest. It is just a plain, local setup. We are proud of what we do here in our corner of Kalahandi. Nothing fancy, just Manaswini Organic doing what we can for the farmers.
