Dharitri Organic Agriculture Producer Company Limited is situated in Bhawanipatna, specifically in the village area called Tentuliapada. We operate out of the residence of Himansu Padhan. Kalahandi is where we have all grown up and it is where we do our business. Our pincode is 766002. Being an organic agriculture company means we spend a lot of time thinking about the earth and the seeds. It is a slow way of working but it is the way we prefer. We are not a big corporate office with a lot of staff. It is just a few of us coordinating with the local producers. Tentuliapada is a quiet place and we like the peace it gives us. We do not have any big promotional flyers or mission statements. We just show up and handle the agricultural tasks that come our way. Sometimes the roads to Bhawanipatna are a bit rough after the monsoon but we still make the trip. We have been at this for some time and we know most of the farmers in the area by name. It is a very personal kind of business. We focus on the organic side because that is what feels right for the land here. We are just Dharitri Organic and we are part of this community. It is honest work and it keeps us very busy most of the year. We are just regular people trying to make the farm business work.
