New Cambridge English Medium High School

Our school is right at Sarpavaram Junction in Kakinada, at D No 3-86/1. If you know the area, you know how busy that junction gets. New Cambridge English Medium High School is sitting right there in the middle of all the traffic and activity. It’s a good spot because everyone passes by it, but it also means it’s never quiet. We spend our mornings managing the front gate to make sure the kids get in safely while the rickshaws and bikes are zooming past. The building is a standard size for this part of town, with classrooms that get a lot of natural light. We don't have a big fancy office; usually, the head of the school is just sitting at a wooden desk with stacks of papers. We deal with the usual stuff like broken chalk, dusty blackboards, and making sure the water cooler is full. Kakinada can get quite humid, so the fans are a necessity. We don’t put on a show for anyone; we just open the doors and get to work. Most of the parents are local workers or shopkeepers from the junction. We see them every day when they drop off their lunch boxes. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t have much fluff, just the basics of a daily school life. The 533005 area is a fast-paced place, and we just keep up with it.
