Konica English Medium School

Our school is right here in the Jampeta Area of Rajahmundry. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our gate. We’ve been Konica English Medium School for quite some time now. It isn't a massive place with glass walls or anything, just a solid building where we try to teach the local kids what they need to know. The classrooms have big fans that hum all day long because it gets so hot in Rajahmundry. We spend our mornings doing the usual stuff, like math and science. The kids come from the nearby houses mostly. Some walk, some come on bikes with their parents. We have a small staff room where we sit and drink tea while we mark the notebooks. It's a bit noisy when the lunch break starts, but that is how schools are supposed to be. We don't have any fancy robots or anything, just blackboards and chalk and teachers who have lived in this neighborhood for years. Sometimes the parents stop by just to chat about how their kids are doing or to complain about the homework load. We listen and we try to make it work.
