You can find Harshavarthana Public School tucked away in Alcot Gardens here in Rajahmundry. It is a pretty quiet part of town compared to the main market areas, which is nice for a school. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. Most of the people working here are locals who have lived in Rajahmundry their whole lives. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It is just a regular public school where we try to teach the kids what they need to know. The classrooms are basic, and we use the outdoor space whenever the weather isn't too hot. Sometimes the power goes out, or we have to move things around because of the rain, but we just deal with it. It’s a very normal place. You’ll see us out front in the mornings making sure the kids get inside okay. We know most of the parents by name since they live just a few streets over. There isn't a lot of marketing going on here; word of mouth is usually how people find out about us. We focus on the books and making sure the students attend their classes. It's honest work and we take it one day at a time. Alcot Gardens is a good place for us, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood. Nothing fancy, just a school that does its job and tries to keep things simple for everyone involved.
