Alcot Garden Municipal Corporation Primary School

You can find us at 4-6-21 in the Alcot Gardens area of Rajahmundry. This is a primary school run by the municipal corporation. It’s a place where local kids from the neighborhood come to learn their first letters and numbers. The building is a simple one, typical for a government school in this part of Andhra Pradesh. We deal with primary-aged children, so there’s always a lot of noise and running around during the breaks. The staff handles the daily lessons and the administrative work that comes with being a corporation school. It’s not a place with air conditioning or luxury fittings; it’s just sturdy walls and classrooms where the work gets done. The location in Alcot Gardens is quite central, making it easy for parents to drop their kids off on their way to work. We have a set routine every day starting with the morning assembly. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there’s a local festival or heavy rain. We do our best to keep the kids engaged with their books. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls might need a fresh coat of paint soon, but the teaching goes on regardless. It’s a very local atmosphere, and everyone around here knows the school. We aren't trying to be anything other than a basic primary school for the community. Most of the families who send their children here have lived in Rajahmundry for generations.
