Kakinada Public School

People usually find us easily here in Sarvodaya Nagar. We’ve been at this spot in Valasapalala for a long time now. The mornings start pretty early when the sun is just coming up over Kakinada. You can hear the rickshaws and cycles outside the gate before the first bell even rings. Most of the staff live nearby, so we just walk or take a short ride over. The building shows its age a bit if you look closely at the corners, but we try to keep the classrooms tidy. There’s a big tree in the yard where kids leave their bags sometimes. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially around April, so the fans are always going full speed. We don't have fancy carpets or anything like that. It’s just plain floors and wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some of the old students come back to visit and they say it hasn't changed much. We usually just nod because things move slow here anyway. There is always a lot of paperwork on the desks in the office. If the gate is stuck, someone has to go out and give it a hard push. It’s just a normal place where people show up to work and kids show up to learn. Nothing too complicated about it. We keep the water cooler filled and make sure the chalk is stocked up. That's about how it goes every day. It's just a normal school day for us, nothing more.
