Ashram Public School

Ashram Public School is situated at the Nagamallithota Junction on Pitapuram Road in Kakinada. Being at a junction means there is always something going on outside our gates. It is a very active part of town in the 533003 area. The school has been here for years, and the building shows its age in a comfortable, lived-in way. We have many classrooms filled with students from all over Kakinada. The morning assembly is usually held in the central courtyard, and you can hear the kids singing from down the street. Our teachers are hardworking people who often stay late to help out with extra work. We have a small computer lab and some science equipment, but nothing too extravagant. The humidity here in Kakinada can be tough, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep everyone moving. The office staff is always busy with some kind of paperwork, whether it’s attendance records or transfer certificates. We don’t have a lot of marketing or fancy brochures. Most people find out about us just by living in the neighborhood or hearing from their neighbors. It’s a straightforward school where the focus is on the daily lessons and the exams. We try to keep the atmosphere friendly and practical for everyone who comes through our doors. It’s just a normal part of life here on Pitapuram Road for us and the students. We are here every morning.
