Vt Gir Somnath Spnf Producer Company Limited is based out of the Talala area. We’re currently using a spot near the Gaushala T.C, at Rajesh Ram Vadhia’s place. Being in Gir Somnath, we have a lot of history with the land here. We are a group of farmers who wanted to get serious about natural farming. It’s not always easy to change the way you’ve done things for twenty years, but we are trying. The office is a simple place where we keep our files and meet up to talk about the season. We don't really do the whole professional business act. We wear our everyday clothes and speak plainly. Most of our time is spent in the fields anyway. We worry about the lions sometimes, and the weather even more. Dealing with the producer company stuff means a lot of checking on who has what ready for sale. We don't have a big staff, just us and maybe a helper or two when things get busy. It’s important to us that the farming stays local and that we support the guys in our own backyard. We started this because we felt it was better than trying to handle everything alone. It’s a practical way to manage the work. Some days are better than others, but we keep showing up. That’s just the way it works for us in Talala. We are just farmers trying to do right by the land and ourselves.
