We are over here in Lathodra, which is part of Maliya Hatina in the Junagadh district. Most of us here at Megar Farmers Producer Company Limited grew up around these fields. It is a local thing where a bunch of farmers decided to get together to handle our business better. Life in this part of Gujarat revolves around the seasons and what we can pull out of the dirt. We aren't a big office with suits and fancy desks. Most days you will find us out near the 351 Gam Vistar area just checking on things or talking about the next crop. It is pretty quiet around here but we stay busy. Being a producer company means we deal with a lot of the everyday stuff that comes with farming in Magrol. We try to keep things simple because that is what works for us. There is always a lot to do, from sorting out seeds to figuring out where the harvest goes. We share the work and the space. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather doesn’t go our way, but we’ve been doing this for a while now. If you come by Lathodra, you’ll see our setup. It’s just a practical place for local people to work together. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the plants and the people living around here.
