Down in Keshod, specifically on Junagadh Road, you will find Khetshakti Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are located at Shop Number 09 in Bina Park. It is a busy little area and we are right in the middle of it. Being in Junagadh district means we are surrounded by people who have been farming for generations. We decided to put this company together so we could have a bit more say in how our products are handled. It is not always easy being a farmer in this region, so having a base at Bina Park helps us stay organized. The shop is a place where we can actually sit down and talk about the groundnuts or the cotton or whatever else is growing in the fields nearby. We get a lot of dust and noise from the road, but that is just part of being in Keshod. We don't use any big words or have long meetings that don't go anywhere. It is more about finding out who needs help with their transport or where we can get better supplies this month. People from the surrounding villages stop by when they are in town for market day. It is a very local vibe and we like it that way. We are just trying to keep the farming spirit alive and make sure we all get a fair shake at the end of the day. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it.
