If you are driving through Jesar, you probably know the petrol pump. We are right across from there at Jadavbhai Gabhabhai Parmar’s place. Dhartikranti Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a way for us local farmers in the village to work as one. It is not like those big companies you see in the cities. We are just people from the village who know the ground here. Some days the sun is too hot and other days we are waiting for rain that doesn't come, but that is just how it goes with farming. We handle things like seeds and tools and trying to sell what we grow for a fair price. It is tough work, and your hands get dirty every single day. We don't have any fancy speeches or big promises to give. We just try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks or when the market prices are looking bad. Most of us have lived in Jesar our whole lives. We see each other at the pump or walking the fields. Being a producer company just makes it official on paper, but the work is the same as it has always been. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the crops are healthy and everyone gets their share of the work done. It’s a simple setup, nothing too polished, just a bunch of neighbors trying to make a living from the earth and helping the village stay strong.
