Dauhitri Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Vithalpur. You’ll find us at Bhimabhai Jivabhai Vala’s place. We are in the Talala taluka of Gir Somnath. This part of Gujarat is special because of the land and what it can produce. We are a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together. It’s not a fancy operation. Most of our meetings happen under a tree or on a porch. We talk about the weather, the soil, and how the crops are doing. Gir Somnath has its own challenges, but the people here are used to it. We aren't trying to be some big national corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in Vithalpur get a fair shake. Bhimabhai’s place is easy to find, and there’s usually someone there to talk to. We handle the paperwork ourselves, even though it can be a headache sometimes. The air here is different from the city, and our work follows the seasons. When it's harvest time, nobody has time for meetings. We are all out in the fields. We started this company because we saw that working alone wasn't working anymore. It’s been a learning process for all of us. We don't have a marketing budget or a website designer. We just have our names and our word. That’s how we do things in Talala. It is honest work.
