We are over here at E-39 in the Basni 2nd Phase area of the M.I.A. It is usually pretty loud because of all the work going on around us in the industrial zone. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most days start early before the sun gets too high and makes the workshop too hot to stand. You can find us near the main road where the trucks are always coming and going. The air is often thick with sawdust because that is just the nature of what we do here. We have a small group of people who show up every morning, grab their tea, and get to work on the different pieces. It is not a fancy setup by any means. There are stacks of wood in the corner and tools lying around on the benches. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Dealing with the heat in Jodhpur is part of the job, I guess. People come by asking for things, and we just show them what we have ready. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workshop floor and a small desk where the accounts get sorted out. It is a simple life and we just keep busy with the orders that come in. Nothing more to it than that really.
