Chirag Art And Craft Store

Our store is at H-554 in the Sangariya 2nd Phase of the RIICO Industrial Area. It is a place surrounded by factories and warehouses, so it is quite different from a regular shopping street. Chirag Art and Craft Store is where we keep all the materials and handmade items. There is often a lot of noise from the nearby industrial units, like the sound of machinery and trucks loading up goods. Inside, it smells like wood shavings and sometimes a bit of glue or paint. We have large tables where we can spread out our work and see what we are doing. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling and are packed with all sorts of things. It can be a bit dusty because of all the activity in the industrial zone, so we are always cleaning. We don't have a fancy display window. People who come here usually know exactly what they are looking for. We spend many hours working on different projects, sometimes getting paint on our clothes or sawdust in our hair. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We have a small stove in the corner to make tea and heat up our lunch. The light coming through the high windows is usually enough during the day, so we don't need many lamps. It is a very practical workspace where we focus on making things. When the industrial area starts to quiet down in the evening, we know it is time to pack up and go.
