Tulsi Handicrafts is tucked away at Plot No. 7 on Street No. 6 in the M.I.A. area, specifically Phase-Iind of Basni. We do a lot of manual work here. It’s a place where things are made by hand, so it’s never perfectly quiet. There’s always the sound of hammers or tools clicking away. We have a small team of workers who have a real knack for making things look right. The workshop is often filled with the smell of wood or whatever materials we are working with that week. It’s not a factory with huge automated lines; it’s more about people sitting at benches and focusing on small details. Sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered with shavings and offcuts, but we clean it up when we can. We’ve been in Basni for a good while and the locals know where to find us. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, word just gets around about what we’re making. It’s a steady pace, nothing too rushed because you can't really hurry this kind of work without making mistakes. We just show up, do our bit, and hope the items turn out well. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re quite content with how things go here at our little spot on Street No. 6.
