Trupti Expo-Crafts

Trupti Expo-Crafts is located at Unit 17 in the Light Industrial Area. It’s a place where there is always some kind of noise, whether it’s a truck backing up or someone using a tool in the next unit over. We have a fair amount of space here, which we need for all the materials and the crafts we are putting together. The floor is concrete and there are high ceilings that get quite cold in the winter months. We spend most of our time out on the floor, checking the items or getting things ready for packing. It’s dusty work, so we don’t wear anything fancy. Most of us have been doing this for a long time and we know the routine. We start early when the air is still a bit cool. The address is easy to find once you get into the industrial zone, just look for number 17. There isn't a big sign out front, just the number and our name. We do a lot of our work by hand, so you’ll see people sitting at benches with various tools. It’s not an assembly line; it’s more about taking the time to finish things properly. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news while we work. It’s a simple life, focused on making things that people might want to buy. We stay until the sun starts to go down and it’s time to lock up the big metal shutters.
