Surendra Handicrafts

We are set up over at C-15(B) in the M.I.A. Basni Phase-I area. Being in an industrial zone like Basni means there’s always a lot of noise and dust around, but that’s just part of the job for us at Surendra Handicrafts. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We are just a group of people who know how to work with our hands. Most of our days are spent in the workshop, surrounded by wood, metal, and the smell of finish. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We’ve been here long enough to know all the other shops on the block. The space is filled with projects at various stages—some just started and others almost ready to be sent off. We don't have a big fancy office; we just have a small desk where we keep the paperwork and a phone that rings more often than we’d like. We don't go around making big promises we can't keep. If we say we can make something, we do our best to get it done right. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’re proud of what we make, even if we don’t spend much time talking about it. It's just what we do here in Basni.
