Supreme Art & Craft

Supreme Art & Craft is situated in Kamla Nahru Nagar. We are quite close to the Chirghar Masjid, which is the main landmark in this part of Shyam Nagar. You can hear the calls for prayer throughout the day, which sort of helps us keep track of time without looking at a clock. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels a bit calmer than the main market areas. We have been here for a while, and the shop is just a regular room where we keep all our tools and materials. There is a small sign outside, but most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. We often have the doors open to catch a breeze. Kamla Nahru Nagar has some narrow lanes, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. Inside, the walls are a bit dusty and we have some old calendars hanging up. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just focus on the craft work we have in front of us. Some days it is just one of us here, and other days we have a couple of people helping out if we have a lot to finish. It is a quiet life in Shyam Nagar. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day. It feels like a real community around the masjid.
