Sudh Desi Udhyog

Sudh Desi Udhyog is based out of F-75 in the MIA industrial area, specifically in Basani Phase 1. It is a large industrial zone, so there are many units just like ours nearby. We have a simple workshop where we do all our manufacturing work. The name basically tells you what we are about—local, simple industry. We have been in Basani for quite a while now and have seen many other businesses come and go. Our unit is just a basic shed with the necessary machinery. It gets very hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we have high ceilings to help the air move around. We don't have a reception area or anything fancy like that. If someone visits, they usually just find us on the shop floor. We keep our records in simple notebooks and try to stay on top of the customer orders. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes with the raw material prices going up and down, but we manage. We don't have any marketing brochures to hand out. We just show people what we make and let the product speak for itself. It’s a humble setup, but it belongs to us and we take care of it every day. Most of the people working at Sudh Desi Udhyog live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood effort.
