Mughals

We are located at B 16 in Shastri Nagar, right by Shastri Circle. Jodhpur is a city we know well, and being near the circle means we see a lot of the daily life here. People are always walking around the park or heading to work. We opened Mughals with the idea of just having a decent place for locals to get a meal. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it's home for us. We spend most of our hours in the kitchen or behind the counter. It gets busy during the evenings when people are out for a walk around Shastri Circle. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure things are done right. We've had some of the same customers for years now, and they usually sit in the same spots. The menu stays pretty much the same because that’s what people ask for. Sometimes we have to fix a chair or paint a wall, but we do it ourselves. It's a simple life running a restaurant in this neighborhood. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a place to sit down and eat something hot. It’s honest work and we plan to keep doing it as long as people keep showing up at our door. We don't need fancy stuff to keep things going here.
