Shubham Caterers

Shubham Caterers is tucked away at 398, A/2 on 3rd C Road in Sardarpura. If you come by in the morning, you will probably see us unloading crates of onions or big sacks of rice. Our kitchen is where everything happens. It isn't a showpiece. It is full of big stainless steel pots and long tables where we chop vegetables for hours. When a big wedding order comes in, we are all working through the night. There is steam everywhere and everyone is shouting to be heard over the fans. We don't have a fancy office to meet clients in. Most people just come to the back and see what we are cooking. We don't use any of those corporate words to describe what we do. We just cook food in large amounts and try to get it to the venue while it is still hot. Washing those huge pots at the end of the day is the hardest part. My hands are always smelling like garlic or ginger. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for years, so we know how to work together without talking too much. Sardarpura is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it. We don't claim to be the biggest, we just do our work and go home tired. It is an honest way to make a living and it keeps the kitchen fires burning.
