Sidharth Art & Craft

Sidharth Art & Craft is located at Jain Bhawan Panna Niwas, which is right by the Clock Tower. Being near the Clock Tower means we are right in the heart of the action. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long, from the honking cars to the people shouting in the market nearby. Our shop is inside Panna Niwas, an older building that has a lot of history to it. It’s not a polished or modern space. Instead, it is filled to the ceiling with all the things we’ve made over the years. There are wooden carvings, painted items, and scraps of material everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but it’s the kind of mess that comes from being busy. We don't have a corporate structure or a mission statement. We just like making things and selling them to the people who stop by. Sometimes it’s tourists who have come to see the Clock Tower, and other times it’s locals who have known us for years. We usually have a pot of tea going and we’re happy to chat with anyone who walks in. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We’re just a small art and craft business trying to make a living in a very busy part of town. It is hard work, but we enjoy the creative side of it. We’ll be here as long as the Clock Tower is.
