Shri Krisna Food

You can find Shri Krisna Food right in the middle of the Old Sabzi Mandi at Talai Bazar. We have shops number 151 and 152, which are pretty close to the Geeta Bhawan Mandir. Being in the vegetable market means it is very loud and crowded most of the time. We open early because that’s when the buyers are out looking for stuff. Our shops are filled with food items stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It’s not very tidy, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a fancy logo or a big corporate story. We just sell food to the people who come to the mandi every day. Some days are very busy and we barely have time to eat lunch. Other days, when the weather is bad, we just sit and talk with the other shopkeepers nearby. We've been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors all know us. We handle the bags and boxes ourselves. There’s always dust from the grain and the sound of trucks unloading nearby. We don't try to impress anyone with big promises. We just give people what they ask for and take their money. It's a simple way to live. When the market closes, we sweep up and head home to get ready for the next morning. It’s just how things go at the Sabzi Mandi.
