Shri Hanuman Pulses & Jhawar Trader

Our place is Shop No-3 inside the Annapurna Complex. It's right on Bhaisthan Road, not far from Agrasen Chowk. If you know that area, you know how busy the traffic gets around the chowk. It’s usually pretty loud with all the horns and people moving about. Shri Hanuman Pulses & Jhawar Trader has been operating out of this small shop for a bit now. It’s a tight fit with all the bags stacked up against the walls. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when a new shipment comes in. We spend a lot of time just counting and weighing stuff. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet because there’s always something else to do. Being in the complex means we see a lot of the same faces every day. The light in the back of the shop flickers sometimes, which is annoying, but it works well enough. We don't have a lot of fancy technology here. It's mostly just a ledger and some pens. People come in, ask for what they need, and we sort it out. Bhaisthan Road is always dusty, so we have to wipe the counters down way more often than I’d like. It's just a regular trading job. We show up, deal with the pulses, and talk to the drivers. That’s about it for us here at Shop No-3.
